Behind Every How There’s a Who: Finding Jesus in Life’s Irritations
- Sermon By: Dennis Campbell
- Categories: Christian Living, tough times
,Are you searching for answers? Struggling with life’s questions? Wondering how things will ever work out? This past Sunday, we explored John 9 and discovered that the real answer isn’t in the how—it’s in finding Jesus.
If you missed the message (or if you need to hear it again—and trust me, you do!), I encourage you to watch, listen, or read it now. In this powerful sermon, we unpack the story of the man born blind and how everyone around him was looking for explanations. His neighbors saw him as a beggar. The Pharisees saw him as a theological puzzle. Even the disciples wanted to know how he ended up blind in the first place. But Jesus? Jesus saw him as a person in need of a miracle.
Ask the Right Questions
Finding Jesus in our struggles isn’t about understanding every detail. It’s about trusting He is at work, even when we don’t see the full picture. Maybe you’re in a season of frustration or uncertainty. Maybe life has thrown you challenges that don’t make sense. Instead of asking how try asking who. Who sees you, who can bring healing, and who has the power to change everything? The answer is always finding Jesus in the middle of your mess.
This sermon will challenge you to shift your focus. Stop trying to figure out how and start trusting who. Because the greatest miracle isn’t just physical healing—it’s finding Jesus in every situation.
Take some time today. Watch, listen, or read the message—let it encourage and strengthen you. Because behind every how there’s a who—and when you start finding Jesus, everything changes.
